    oh yeah, you cant just 'cut the bumpstops' in the front to go lower....they are built into the strut...time for short struts...hint: my ACDelco struts for a Saab 900 actually match up pretty good with 300lb springs....

        Yeah, it's just hitting the top of the tunnel. I'll see what a 5lb sledge can do. If not, a angle grinder. I'm taking it from Philly to killington this weekend

        And yeah, they come out. My friend took his out, and cut em haha.

          if the DS is actually hitting the tunnel with a 2 piece shaft, then you have other issues than just needing to clearance is....I tucked wheel before I rubbed the tunnel with a 2 piece.

              why do you have a 1 piece DS with an M4x trans? (thats what your shifter looks like in the picture through the window...

              so you have konis then?


              oh yeah, youre gonna need to do some real work in there (sledge might not be enough)....air hammer worked pretty good, but I do see myself getting/making a new trans tunnel in the future (might just buy a Chris Alston piece and weld it in....)

                I have a m47, I just like the 4 spd shift knob better. And its badass

                  why joo got a 1 piece DS with an m47?

                  anyways...heres what I had to do

                  chopped a small section out of that up and over piece
                  cut down the seatbelt latch bolt
                  air hammer to the whole back half of the tunnel and moved it all out 3/8-1/2"

                  it still rubs on hard accel in 1st and sometimes 2nd

                    oh yeah....got a welder? pull your panhard and chop 1/2" or so out of it to cent the DS back up in the tunnel
