Wheels are AMG reps, 18x8 ET 29 & 18x9 ET 35. Falken 512's 215/40F & 225/40R. Lowered on H&R springs with the perches taken out and a coil cut in the front, kyb shocks.

Funny thing about benz's, the only things you need to do are wheels, springs, and spacers then its perfect. And oh yea they can run 250,000+ miles from the factory lol

    Really clean car, nice work!

M104's are the best! You're lucky though cause you have HFM injection, I'm stuck diddling around with CIS; a lot more custom fabbing to get anything performance wise done

I'm a big fan! How stiff is the kgb/h&r combo? Think you can space um out a bit without worrying about rite rubbing against metal?

                  Thanks lol
They actually ride very nice, its not bouncy or anything like that. They are a bit stiff, more than the factory shocks are, but not too rediculous. But the way it sits now, i have about 1 inch of clearance between the wheel and the fender. I was planning on running 15mm spacers in the front and 20mm in the rear and that would still leave me with some room to spare.

I don't understand taking out the spring perches, do you mean the spring pads?

Your car looks great, I chose my 97 e320 for the reliability and longevity of the inline 6 as well.

Not bad at all. I just wanted to go lower without having to cut another coil off my spring.

Hmmm I might do this, the thinnest available spring pad is 8mm from MB and I just lowered my car on H&R's this weekend which are progressively wound and don't feel like cutting them. Definitely gonna keep that in mind, thanks dude.

Just realized I am running the same suspension combo as you, h&r/kyb.

Are you going to the simply clean show this weekend in sanford?
