  • new guy in here! some pics of my variant

first of all, hi to everyone!

i'm from montreal, canada and this is my first post on this forum

i just bought this car back in april so more work will be done during winter!

the car is a 2007 vw passat variant (wagon) highline with the 2.0T inside, m6 tranny.

here are the pics from the begining

first set of rims: miro m02 black edition (bbs lm reps) 18x8 et45

something was missing and the chrome didn't match the wheels so i went to the vw dealer and bought the votex lip kit and had it textured to match the lower trims of the car and wraped with vinyl all my chrome trims. lowered the car on eibach pro-kit for now. keep in mind that all this was done in less than 2 months with a gf yelling at me to not spend too much on the car

new pics with tinted tails and blacked out exhaust

and came the time to get another set-up!

wheels on those pics are fast DTMs, 18x8 et45 and 18x9 et35 running on slight stretched 215-40-18

since i change wheels like underwear, here is my current set-up!

    winter mode ftl!

and those are the new rims waiting for next summer!

    fast hayaku, 19x8.5 et25 and 19x9.5 et25, will run 215-35-19 front and 225-35-19 rear

buying coils this winter and wraping the car flat black in a couple of weeks

will look like that once the wrap is done

that's it for now! more update to come during winter!

    thanks for watching!

you should have saved the money you spent on fake wheels on one set of spot on real wheels.

i know but with just the 2 first set, i did 500$ of profit just by rolling them

i always make $ on my wheels since i have a good contact.

i'm doing this, selling and buying while i save the profits, wait for my perfect ''real'' wheels and i will buy once i found what i want.

when you have a house to pay also, you can't ditch all that money on just a car... unfortunately lol!

                thanks everyone for the comments!

btw, just for fun, that was my previous ride, just to show how low i like 'em!

first set of wheels, porsche 7 slots

and last set before i sold the car, ats cup with a lil more lowness

Nice! And you will do the wrap during winter? I vinyled my trunk and I don't know if it's because it's cheap vinyl but I had to heat it a lot to make it stick to all the curves of the trunk. When it became cold, it was making air bubbles where there was deep curves ( like around the liscence plate) Anyways.. just being curious... where will you make it wrap?

                            some updates of the waggy!

sold the TE37 reps since the 8.5 wasn't concave enough and kinda narrow...

bought the same in 19x9.5 all around, et25 & 35

got my fenders rolled and slightly pulled

                            donk status? hell no!!

                            installed the coilovers

some proper shot of the stance

curbed a wheel so i had to fix it

                            in the sun:

                            [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1fkAWKw0deg"]YouTube - ‪passat wagon video teaser!‬‏[/ame]

sold the wheels, bought a set of 20'' MRR HR3

tires were rubbing on my back bumper corner and didn't had the time to bother with another set of tire so i sold them and got a set of lamborghini callisto in 19x8 et35

too narrow for my taste, sold them a week and a half after and waiting for my new ones, wich i should get today!

wheels are 19x9.5 et34 all around, super deep concave set-up. i will play a little with spacers to get the maximum i can.

                            to be continued...!
