I like them because there the opposite of special and flashy, yet can be sick if pulled off right.

This is exactly where the stance scene should have stayed, IMO, maybe with a bit more low. Wheels that fit properly, tires with straight or VERY slightly stretched sidewalls. Cars that sit like this are what interested me in the first place. There aren't many left, but they look damned good.

If it's worth doing, it's worth doing right.

Just out of curiosity I wanted to see how it would look lower.

Not a fan of the black wheels or hood, but I like where the car is sitting. Just about perfect height for an E30, IMO

                            haha

If you want it on the cheaps, its not absolutely horrible on lowering springs cut 3 coils up front and heated a bit out back. We bit soft for aggressive fitment though, does the job though.

1100km's at this height all the way to h2oi, then another 1100 back

A shot my buddy took while we were in ocean city

I was on cut springs when i was on bottle caps. Not bad at all, just the rears sketched me out when they really had nothing holding them in place but the wieght of the car

You will have the same problem with coilover's on an e30, unless the shock is really really short. When I had ground controls with cheapy lowering shocks I was running 4" springs with the adjuster a few turns from bottomed and the spring could come out with lifting the car ever so slightly.
