So.. it happened some time ago that I found a cheap GTI 16V on eBay... as the text said the guy stopped his project and now wants to sell it.
Once it's been a beatiful, black Golf GTI 16V Edition Colour Concept, he already put clean bumpers on it and it didn't even look that abused on the pics he had in his auction.
Unfortunately I didn't win the auction, but a few weeks later I got the offer to buy the car for my bid (around 1000Euro).
Didn't take long to make a decision ad the next weekend I picked the car up...
Long story short: The guy was a complete idiot, he had no idea how to do stuff so the 16V was completely abused, but hey the engine seemed to be fine so I bought it anyway.
The car didn't make it home at once though... it had some electric problems so that the engine sometimes topped working. You then had to wait for some minutes and it would run fine again...
Knowing that the body would go to the scrapyard we started to modify it a little with a hammer and some permanent markers and then drove it around for a bit.
I don't know if Dr.AK already posted the pics we took one night, but well... have fun:

Drving that car around, you sure cought everyone's attention
I'm currently taking it apart... it's so abused... so sad that someone ruined this kinda rare MK3, but hey... at least I got an engine for my red one for cheap
