A nice air ride system is definitely not out of the question down the line!, and your right, to achieve that pictured stance, would need some kind of air..

I'm just gonna see how close I can get with a few more degrees of negative camber, adjusting coils correctly, and a little more internal fender work..

I just want to get all the suspension stuff out of the way this year, because next year i'm focusing on fixing all bodywork, and painting her Sepang Bronze..

No not at all, you could achieve that with static quite easily!

I don't see how, unless you use metal blocks in place of springs, or you like bashing your fenders on every bump. I mean come on, look at the rear.

How much you are bashing your fenders depends directly on your dampening rate. If you go with say, re-valved struts and ultra stiff koni sleeves with ground control camber plates, you could set it up where you had no wheel travel whatsoever. There are ways to do everything, it just depends on how much work you're willing to undertake as well as how rough a ride you are wiling to endure.

Dampening rate? Are you trying to splash water on your coilovers? I think you mean damping.

I'm not sure what you mean by revalved struts and stiff Konis, which are the same thing. And camber plates don't really have anything to do with suspension travel. But I know the point you are getting at is that if you run 1,000lb+ springs, super stiff shocks, blah blah blah you can really limit your suspension travel.

All that said, there is still going to be SOME travel (all that energy needs to be transmitted one way or another!) and when your rim is sitting outside your fender and it's only 1/8" away from touching the fender @ static height on a 3,500lb car... it's going to make contact!

just cut and pull your fenders and roll bump stops. thats all you need

by sleeves i think he meant the sleeve type ground control coilover setup.

He is, I was simply being a tool. Sorry about that guys. To COMFORTABLY have a ride height like that, you're going to have to have bags. True story
