Nah, I think i know my way around wheels and fitment enough to not really need cookie-cutter advice (smaller tires, lower it more). Some have good advice, some are.. just a little sanctimonious.
I'dve wished I'd brought my e36 to the Leavenworth cruise in june. Short of ONE e36 on bags, mine wouldve been the lowest BMW at the show, easily.
I'll get some proper photos sometime soon, I've been busy working on my vws lately.
I love you. All homo. so hard.
By the way, my horribly fitted car had a little photo in the back of Performance VW in may this year.
I enjoy my car. It's quite the conversation piece. I've met a lot of very cool people as a result of it. My wheels arent the biggest, widest, most expensive rollers on the face of the earth. This is a budget built, daily driven, slammed car, nothing more, nothing less.
Politely remove yourself from my testicle sac. If you're following my thread around because you have a romantic interest in me, pm me your phone number and let's get busy.

I am a lil late to this party but let me share my thoughts... Your wheels are too small, your tires too tall, your attitude about thinking youre the fuckin boss is way the fuck outta whack, if your the fitment guru mike is god, sean is st.peter, your car is not that low, lowered yes, lowered enough... far from it.
Guys that dont like pink arent insecure, they just dont like homos like you that rock the shit to make a statement... which in fact masks your fear to come out of the closet with false masculinity...
Nice start, now get bigger wheels or smaller sidewalls, if you keep em paint them a mans color, and lower that shit till it leaves lil love marks all over your local public roads
I'm sorry but I had to reply to this after reading it. It's obvious you know NOTHING about fitment or e36s if you think his tires are too tall. Awful advice.
I dont know why everyone is being such faggets in this thread, op and everyone else. The car is cool IMO and needs some tweaks to be dope. It IS low(although it can go a bit lower). It needs more tire and there are obvious things that need changing but I've seen much worse on here. It just pisses me off that everyone immediately decides to **** because it's not a cookie cutter set up that every e36 in the world runs because they googled "stanced e36." OP you're taking criticism too hard and adding fuel to the fire. Everyone else could give advise without being douches and not give advice when you dont know what's up.
OP, IMO the wheels are begging for 225/45s or atleast 215s to tigthen up the space. That is where you have wheel gap. With smaller diameter wheels you have to make up some of that room with tire.

Someone reasonable. Only took 4 pages. I know I can get a little argumentative, ill take that. I just don't appreciate when people rip on it completely because it isn't what they want. I wanted 16s because i like the look. I wanted poke because I like that look too. I'm coming from VWs. Shit, I'm used to 13" rims on my cars for fucks sake. I like that profile on this car. I think too many run too large a rim, in my opinion, on these cars.
Can it be lowered more? ya, not as it sits. i actually need spacers to do it, I hit rim on coilover if i wind down any more than it's at now. For the time being, it's fine for me. I don't rub at all up front, and occasionally knick rim on steep entrances. For a cheap car on cheap coils, I'm fine with that.
"that" wheelgap could be addressed with some positive camber (im actually a bit negative, front and back), but i scaled it back just enough to make it run full lock without touching tire. larger tires could help, but they were bought and paid for. I couldn't just take them back. I take this car everywhere, down many questionable roads. I think if i go lower it'll become damn near useless.
1. why not? I get asked that often. It's different and it gets a lot of questions. More than i'd ever anticipated. It's a conversation piece that way. I work at a parts store, every other day someone asks. I enjoy explaining the simplicity of the decision. To get people to ask why.
2. In time. I have a few limitations, one is money.
