I think you mean this one.

And you're right. PERFECT 16 inch fitment.

    215/40/16s, iirc. I think they're 9 or 9.5x16s

    IIRC, it's static as well.

The OPs car has loads of potential. Clean it up with some fresh paint, better fitment and it's going to be one hell of a ride.

But mainly, just lose the douche-y attitude.

i like the poke. however it definitely needs to be lower, and polished or silver centers would make a world of difference, along with changing your shittastic attitude. when e36's pull off 16's it looks amazing. try harder.

I'm gonna weigh in on a few things here...

Everyone needs to stop being a jackass, OP included.

Your car is low, but it's not that low.

Everyone is entitled to do what they want to the car, and I'm glad you're doing what you want, even if it is pink wheels.

In my opinion, the 16s are cool. They have the possibility of working on an E36, as I have seen it done. Your set, on the other hand, in my opinion, is not working. You're not low enough. Simple as that.

I know you think you can't go lower, but you can. You just don't want to, and there's nothing wrong with that.

As others have said, your fitment, height, and stance as a whole are mediocre. That's not a put down, but the reality of it. Your head is a bit big compared to the car you are driving.

What you're "used to" doesn't mean anything compared to how you execute your current setup.

My $0.02 is to paint the wheels, they heavily cheapen your car and your image, although I am sure you don't care, which is okay.

Lower the car more. You think you're "low" but you've got room to go. I'm marginally sure I am lower than you, and I never scrape on anything. The only thing on my car that touches the ground from time to time is the V-clamps on my exhaust at the end of the header... and that's a rare occasion.
Your fender-to-tire clearance is not that impressive. You say you can't turn without dragging it but you definitely can, because several of us have much tighter clearances.

I know you "DD the car year round" but that's not an excuse for claiming you're slammed. It's an excuse for not going lower. Pick one and stick with it.

Hopefully everyone's attitudes improve. The OP is doing what he wants to his car and I support it whether I like it or not.

The ego, however, needs to go. Your car as a whole has immeasurable room for improvement.

If this thread doesn't change direction I will have to lock it, unfortunately. I'm all for debates but let's not resort to calling each other faggots.

Also, one note towards your sig:

"Doing it wrong on StanceWorks" has nothing to do with your car. It has to do with your attitude. Just something to consider.

Exactly the point. You are on a. Internet forum where lows are REALLY low, not just lowered.

I have the 3 spokes yes, I also have a set of RSs worth more than your car and 2 other sets of wheels you probably never seen before.

It's not a dick swingin competition, it's just that's you claim to be low, when in comparison to e36s on here, you aren't. Your fitment isn't on point to the level you claim as tyre choice is part of fitment and tbh your choice is lacking.

Not sayin you aren't low or your wheels ain't dope or they don't haves good set up, but it's not on pint to the level you have preached to be. Still dude. Don't take things so personally. Learn to live with the criticism and embrace it or ignore it. But if you have truly looked around other 36s in this site and think your car is to that level, then we got issues.

In reality, it isn't slammed but it is indeed low.
There are plenty of people on SW running their e36s lower than you.
I currently have my GF's e36 set at the height of yours so she can drive on the daily without too much worries for the lady.
To consider yourself slammed, please lower it to the pint that the front portion of the side skirt is approx <1" off the ground.
I'm sorry, but i disagree. I would safely say that I am much beyond "lowered". It's nice that you think you yourself define "slammed", though.

I am far past low, zayan. ive got a little under 2" rocker to pavement with no skirts. This car is *daily driven* at this height, year round, in the pacific northwest. Our roads are just a hair more gnarly than your Orange County roads, breh. Do you really think I care if someone else on the internet is lower than I am? I couldn't find a car lower than mine in this entire city, that's good enough for me.

Did i say i was the lowest? No. I don't give a shit about internet cock measuring contests.

I tend to agree with Sean and Jase but up to you man. Do your thing.
I'm sorry, mediocre stance, fitment and height? I really like to know what I'm comparing this to, because I'm seeing some big, comparatively narrow 3 spokes in your signature, and I'm gonna go out on a limb and say I'm every bit as low as you.. Some of you guys are hilarious.

I'm sorry but I had to reply to this after reading it. It's obvious you know NOTHING about fitment or e36s if you think his tires are too tall. Awful advice.

I dont know why everyone is being such faggets in this thread, op and everyone else. The car is cool IMO and needs some tweaks to be dope. It IS low(although it can go a bit lower). It needs more tire and there are obvious things that need changing but I've seen much worse on here. It just pisses me off that everyone immediately decides to **** because it's not a cookie cutter set up that every e36 in the world runs because they googled "stanced e36." OP you're taking criticism too hard and adding fuel to the fire. Everyone else could give advise without being douches and not give advice when you dont know what's up.

OP, IMO the wheels are begging for 225/45s or atleast 215s to tigthen up the space. That is where you have wheel gap. With smaller diameter wheels you have to make up some of that room with tire.
Someone reasonable. Only took 4 pages. I know I can get a little argumentative, ill take that. I just don't appreciate when people rip on it completely because it isn't what they want. I wanted 16s because i like the look. I wanted poke because I like that look too. I'm coming from VWs. Shit, I'm used to 13" rims on my cars for fucks sake. I like that profile on this car. I think too many run too large a rim, in my opinion, on these cars.

Can it be lowered more? ya, not as it sits. i actually need spacers to do it, I hit rim on coilover if i wind down any more than it's at now. For the time being, it's fine for me. I don't rub at all up front, and occasionally knick rim on steep entrances. For a cheap car on cheap coils, I'm fine with that.

"that" wheelgap could be addressed with some positive camber (im actually a bit negative, front and back), but i scaled it back just enough to make it run full lock without touching tire. larger tires could help, but they were bought and paid for. I couldn't just take them back. I take this car everywhere, down many questionable roads. I think if i go lower it'll become damn near useless.

    1. why not? I get asked that often. It's different and it gets a lot of questions. More than i'd ever anticipated. It's a conversation piece that way. I work at a parts store, every other day someone asks. I enjoy explaining the simplicity of the decision. To get people to ask why.

    2. In time. I have a few limitations, one is money.
