  • This ain't your grandma's Kia

In my effort of ballin' on a budget, I did a blasphemy and cut my Eibach springs. I think I am on the right track, although I need to get the front a little bit lower.

    Before:

    Now:

Excuse the dirty as fuck car. It has been raining like mad for the past week and today is the first decent day we have had.

Oh yeah, and cut springs are just a temp solution until I have the greenback's for coilovers.

The car is lower 3"+ in the front and 3" in the rear. Fender to ground is 23 3/4 inches. I was just looking at the pics, and it looks a lot lower in real life.

    The Kia has been parted.

Looks like your off to a good start. Def need to slam the fawk out of it and get some wider rims. Has potential though.

I don't see how cutting springs on a Kia is "off to a good start".

No offense, but let's be real here.

I will say this though: every car has potential.

There's no way that spring cutting gave you 3" of drop. Sorry bro, keep cutting.

I figured not a lot of people here would like this car. Understand I just got into this scene and have a very limited amount of money at this point in time. I cut my Eibach springs because it was free and easy to do.

And yeah, cutting the spring did give me 3" of drop. The Eibach springs gave me 1.5 and cutting a coil have me another 1.5 The tape measure doesn't lie.

Give me until next summer, I got some big ideas.
