I drove the truck daily for about 3 years, Got super bored with the AWD/Automatic trans. So I took it off the road did a frame up build at that time and converted it to the 6-speed/rwd that it is now, Way more fun!

So the factory front diff, driveshafts and torsion bar set up was ditched, money was tight because of the motor build and college so i'm currently running 2WD S10 suspension (thats where the shitty offset/ lack of flushness comes into play. Its lowered 7inches in the front by a 2inch drop spindle, 3inch drop coil spring and modified lower control arms. The rear is lowered 8 1/2inches by 3inch drop leaf springs, 3inch block aswell as i raised the leafspring up on the hangers about 2 inches. After college as I said in one of my previous posts i'll be switching to a rear vetter irs, Big brakes front and rear brakes, A 18/19 stagger hopefully something with lots of stretch, dish and concave. I'll hopefully be staying away from the vette wheels as I think there very overplayed on these trucks.

Yeah the wheels are c4 vettr wheels haha. My mistake, Guess I was tired.

      Some older pics,
Right before I took it off the road for the rebuild, Old 20" Niche F18 rims. In pieces 93' Typhoon beside it.

My old blk/blk 92' Typhoon - sold (first pic was with c4 vette wheels, sold it with stock wheels) Truck now lives in Vermont.

                  Hey Lophonie,
Is that a Marlboro Typhoon edition? Also where did you order your lowering kit from for your Typhoon?
Also what type of Lower control arms did you use?

I love everything but the vette wheels, just not my favorite vette wheel. Everything else is gold, and I'm jealous....

My roomate told me about this site. He said you guys, unlike most people would like some pics of my Ty. I`ve built the truck twice from the frame up, sitting currently on its 6th set of rims and 3rd suspension setup. The truck for me is and has always been a rolling piece of art, and a constant relection of myself growing up, styles coming and going and the car scene changing. I built the truck for myself and no one else. Hope you enjoy it. Some spec:

                      Built Motor - 467 rwhp
                      Converted from AWD to RWD
T-56 6 Speed manual transmission conversion
                      Lowered - Front 7, Rear 8 1/2
                      C5 corvette rims - 17x9.5 w/ 295's & 17x11 w/335's

Alot of other stuff. Any questions just ask,

Hey man you have a beautiful Typhoon here this thing is truly a work of art! Can you tell me exactly what did you use to lower it the way that you did?

Yours is very clean by the way. It's easy to see how much work you've put into it.
They came with a V6 4.3 liter Turbo charged engine which produced 280 Horsepower.
