  • Sonoma on BMW wheels.

I borrowed my friends BMW rims for a photohoot my club and I had for a magazine over the weekend. I think I'm in love with black rims and my being different I think I want some BMW rims most likely staggered with a polished lip (id go gloss black or semigloss to match the hood). I'm sure you guys can help me find some I would like. I like the mesh looking ones. These are the last pic before I take it to the warehouse and tear it down for the winter. I'm so over the minitruck scene and I'm going to do my own thing weither truck guys like it or not haha..

    winter plans:
    Body:
    paint will stay the same.
    new rear stepshavers.
    new mirrors.
tint the brake lights or candy IDK yet.

    Interior:
Getting all stock interior again.. minus the dash bezel.
suede everything that has zebra print and tweed on it.
recover the seats in black leather and lime green stitching.
make a harness bar for my 4pts.

    Engine:
engine is being pulled and building a new 350 for it.
redoing the entire engine bay with matching bolts
    ordering alot from www.ballerbolts.com
    wrapping the headers
    recoating the frame
I just need everything super clean and tucked and polished etc etc etc.. some things are still lookin like poop.

    Suspension:
Camaro coilovers up front and drop the rear to level it out with the front..
im hoping itll be about 5 in the front and 6 in the rear.. its 4/4 now.

anyways, sorry to bore you guys.. heres some pics:

    old pics but nothings changed

    my dash sticker:

heres a cellphone shot of one of the shots from the shoot:

I remember seeing this once before... I think it was double spokes I saw on an s10. I have also seen a set of BBS's on an older gen blazer.

    I like em dropped.

      ya I haven't seen many.. maybe 2 or 3.
the bolt pattern is almost identical but I am running adapters all around and 1/8in spacers in the front. The set up is sketchy up front. I dont like running adapters and spacers but I gotta do what I gotta do haha

Not sure how I feel about the color BUT the taillight graft is cool and I LOVE the dash! I'm really interested to see how the interior looks with the mentioned changes (the color-matched stitching might tie the exterior color in for me). Your loner wheels don't do it for me but I'll hold out and see what you end up with. And, of course, who can complain about the V8 swap haha? Have anymore pictures of the dash?

My buddy has a white 98' S10 (Vortech V6/5-speed, sidestep) dropped on some C5 Z06 wheels. Clean truck, not too much else done to it (he is very busy with school).

Haha, ya I hear ya on the color.. its either you love it or **** it.

As for the interior, I just want it more subtle. The paint is loud and so is the interior so if I tame the interior down it may look way better and tie everything in more but if you knew me it fits me and my personality well haha. I may just do the headliner and door fabric in suede and leave the pillars stock. I think lesser is more in this case.

As for rims, I had billet on there before and it didn't look right and I not 100% on the rims themselves, I know I will be getting black bc I think it looks tits.

I'm looking for something along these lines:
I know nothing about BMW series and what goes with what but this is the styles I think would look good.

and no sorry, I dont have any more pics of the dash. Its all fiberglassed by me with lazer cut metal fillers for gauges and the light assembly. The light assembly and steering column are out of a first gen (85-93) s10. I rewired the entire truck with a Painless wiring kit and those worked well since I didnt need any computers, sensors, etc.

Somebody correct me if I'm wrong but the second ones pictured look like BBS LM reps? I would love to see a staggered set on a Sonoma/S10. Bummer about dash pictures haha. It looks really good. Is the fiberglass work painted or covered in material (hard to tell from the pictures)?

...and I hear you on black wheels!

ya ill def get staggered fa shooo.

the dash is painted not covered. Its 2009 Ford Taurus Black with a flatening agent.

as for rims... whats the difference or advantage of have multipeice wheels? I'd rather have multi peice for painting purposes and I can get some rowdy lookin screws from that website I posted haha
