I drive lower on bags than most people static, and I rarely air up. Only to get into my garage..
I would say leave the car static though!!

I just dig the car which was really why I started the thread. So people could enjoy it.
LMAO!! You know you care (just alittle, its ok to admitted it, lol!)

Thanks everyone for the feed back, I have always driven static on all my cars

This is just a new project, so sky is the limit! Its true, it seems like air is a most on the MKV, its like everyone can afford it, lol!

But yeah I will keep it static for awhile and see how things go, I just thought it would be cool to have air now, since everyone has it on these cars.

only reason I went with bags on my latest car was just to make it more practical, i had air on my last car and ***** it but that was back when it was kind of new in a way

now everything is different, My new front struts ride just like coils when its slammed and rides so smooth when aired up alittle more

Yeah, I have had 13 cars. 10 of which were static and about 1'' of the ground. Bags can do everything that static can do and more. That's why I am going with bags on my next project.

FTI, there are numerous track cars on air also. So saying that they aren't for performance is false.

Your car looks fantastic btw. <3
    Haha, thanks, man.

I just didn't want to deal with the maintenance, possible failed part(s), etc on a daily (that gets driven 60+ miles a day and gets parked 30 miles away from my house). Yeah, air is reliable, but there's just so many things that can possibly go wrong even if you "do it right." Having it laid out in front of my house and having people ask what's wrong with the suspension is good enough for me.

i really dont kno why anyone really cares either way? if the car is stanced and low then cool, isn't that what it is really about?

i think air is sick to look at parked and when these cats drive it low too..that's mad cool.

for some like me..its easier to set it and forget it.. i wouldn't want to shell out the money when i'm already almost where i wanna be..

static air hydro.. who cares, as long as it sits legit!!!

What that one guy said a few posts up about the only reason for not getting air is if you cant afford it that is so far from the truth. My mkv gti is currently on air and I miss being static daily. I **** the fact that I got a digital management and still have to adjust the ride height everytime I get into the car instead of having a preset ride height that goes to the same psi (thanks autopilot). Also there is a feeling you get out of static that air does have.

OP. Im on air with the same car and I personally am going back to fks very soon. Also air has lost its novelty now that the kits are becoming mass produced and pretty affordable. It seems as if everyother car in the mkv community is on air now
