I just think its gay... sorry i have my own opinion about ff drifting....

I am a fan of drifting but I just don't consider ripping the e-brake for 75 percent of the time you are in the car, drifting.

FF Drifting is like having sex with your pillows, in theory you're doing it, but you're doing it all wrong.

Totally agreed with you here Sean. That shit is cool and I bet it takes a hell of a lot more skill than rear wheel drive. Is it as awesome as rear wheel drive drifting? Obviously not even close. Is it still cool? Yeah. Plus if you read the article, he crashed his 180 and bought a civic for 500 bucks because it was all he could afford. He learned how to use what he had and that's respectable. And apparently he really likes ff drifting now so apparently it must be pretty fun.:dunno

Still, don't post this on hondatech. I'm good on a ff drifting fad in America lol

yeah this this is old. i've seen even when i was in high school. but no one has ever mentioned it on any forums i'm in. and when i posted, people seemed to be surprise. obviously its been going on forever, but it's gone nowhere. haha

in the article he said he got ***** on A LOT in japan for it, and he wanted to try it in the US because he thought there would be less ******. he probably found out how much worse it is here in the US. bahahaha. 10 years later....it has gone NO WHERE!

yeah it's cool and all. i currently own a honda myself, and i think it's pretty gay. honda people always try too hard. haha.

FWD drifting will never catch on because there are way EASIER ways to do it. But, there's a bunch of us gaijin's who started drifting about a decade ago in FWD because that's what we were driving when we first picked up our option dvds. Matter fact, Super Street ran an article on how to drift with FF and they used matte green ITR. Still have that issue. I don't think anyone is gonna opt to drift FF cuz there's no longer a need, but the skill it takes to do it and do it well is commendable. Calling it gay is somewhat immature or fanboyish. If you're into automotive motorsports and the whole car culture, you can respect all types of shit whether you like it or not. I **** Nascar but respect the skill it takes to do it. I'm no longer into drag racing, but again, respect it. I can even respect a donk if done right even tho I ****'em. That's my $.02

the word "that's gay" just means "i don't like it"

                  therefore: nascar is gay

You'd probably go through tires twice as fast doing this. Or at least in my head that'd be how it works out haha.

It's interesting, and I'm sure it takes skill I know I don't even come close to posessing.

I don't see the point...why modify a FF car and struggle when a FR can do it 10x better and properly. This cannot be good for the driveshaft boots

Oh and this is coming from someone who has never owned a FR car.

Takes mad skill to do what the are doing...but I just don't see the point.

Wouldn't they get flat spots like a motherfucker on the rear tires?
