New ride, couple of pics

Well I got me a new ride and thought I'd share. The guy I bought the car from had it in a field and it was abandoned so I bought it for a song and have put the wheels on it and washed it. The car is a 87 535is auto with the selectable trans. Like I said the car was abandoned in a field for some years and was vandalize quit a lot but I think I can resurect it. The car runs and drives well and the interior is really not bed... the leather is not torn or faded and the carpet is good. The outside is another matter, all the doors have been kicked in and the left rear quarter is damaged a little. Anyway here are a couple of pics. the first is when I got it, if you look closly at the left quarter shot you can see that the left rear wheel doesnt look right.... I think this is the reason for the damage on the body there. the brake rotor behind this wheel was DESTROYED! all that was left was the center, and it had spun so that the screw that holds the rotor on was under the center and keeping it away from the hub and made the wheel wobble.






Here are a couple I took this morning after the wash and new wheels. The wheels are in need of either rechrome or blast and paint. I havent decided so let me know what you think

damn kids! when it was sitting in the field it was vandalized... broken windows and kicked the doors in. The plan for both cars is adj coilovers so ill get pics of them once the stance it right...

yea but they are better than the bottle caps... IMO but im in the process of getting some others. just need to do some other work on the car first

I cant really decide on the wheels, however I have a list of things to do before wheels... and close to the top is Stance..... after I make it legal for driving and a little body work

Actually if you guys know anyone interested in a 535i I got another car for parts that I will trade for a set of BBS style 5s or RSs..anyone? anyone?..lol

i think somebody tried to achieve alpina look with those style 32's..but the chrome ones are meeeeh. Plus they don't float with the lines of older cars..imho.

Not a fan of chrome. Take the OG wheels (TRXs?) and paint them black. Or get rid of the chrome on the Style 32s, IMO of course.

wasnt really goin for a "look"...just had the wheels layin around and thought they looked better than the 14" bottle caps, but not to fear different wheels and stance on the way!
