  • Tire help style 5's 18

I picked up some staggard style 5's 18x8 front et20 and 18x9 rear et22. I plan on going pretty low. Just wondering what tire size I may need if I plan on going pretty low not slammed but lowered.

Also would I need to do any fender work.

Doesn't look like these guys have alot of fender mondification going on. Maybe some rolling but thats all I can see.

If I were doing that setup I would probablty do 205/40/18 in the front and 225/40/18 in the rear. But I dont know if that is enough stretch for how low your going to be. Also some people may tell u to do a 35 series tire?

I dont want do to much of a stretch. If you had to take a guess what size tire would you say the 2 cars above are running. I plan on going about as low as the blue 1 . It looks like he has more tire but had to roll his fenders.

assuming this is going on an e36? you didnt state what car itll be going on

              18x9 ET22 = stretch

even if you didnt want to go low, a square sidewall will destroy your fenders and paint

              also

the estoril is polo12345's old setup where he ran 215/35 on the 8 and a 225/40 in the rear

Yeah it's a e36 sorry about the lack of info. Do you know if had to modify the fenders at all with those tires?
