Big metal plate the prevents the oil pan from getting smashed.

I haven't found a 17" 4x100 wheel with a fat lip that I want to run, the ones that make the shortlist are all 5x120.

Or go lower and keep the skidplate. When I had a skidplate on my e30, I had deep gouges all over the bottom of the skidplate. Also, you still have wheelgap and that's never a good thing.

The skidplate stays on. I would have destroyed the oil pan the first day I put on the Borbet's without it. The wheelgap I'll tweak out after I get an alignment done tomorrow as I have to adjust the camber settings.

those first wheels looked like some real asshole. gotta change those headlights and get some startecs for the rear. other then that i love mt1 and cloth interior.
