I actually like the sawblades on your car.
Excuse my ignorance, but is it normal for the wheels to be set so far forward in the wheel arch?
alot of local people ask as well, when you lower these cars, the rear straight beam has short "arms" so when you lower it drastically you lose the length on the arm, pulling the wheels forward into arch. mason-tech sells plates that help with that, but i dont mind to much

Sounds good. If you're cool wit it, I'm cool wit it.
that front needs to come down....thats weird your car didnt come with a hybrid pan, all my friends 1.8ts came factory with hybrid pans. Otherwise it looks real clean, what coils are you on?

yea ill go a little lower once i have a skid plate. Wisconsin winter beat the shit out of the roads. as far as the pan, idk, maybe the previous owners of those cars replaced them or the dealerships, but both my gtis didn't and Ive worked on several other 1.8ts and neither did they...

Wrong...only 04.5 Jetta GLI's came with hybrid pans from the factory.

I was going to ask the same thing. I guess that first shot really shows it. Thanks for the explanation.
