got some more shit done this weekend... pretty much got everything done that i can until more parts arrive on tuesday... also still waiting on my buddy to get the wiring knocked out so i can start putting the dash and interior im running back in the car... started off with getting the front mount tie straps made and get it mounted... trimmed the stock bumper support to clear the front mount and used some flat aluminum plates to hold it up and got this





then turned my attention to the back of the car and dropped the tank to put the 255 in



then dropped the diff so it can be welded and i have new diff bushings coming on tuesday for it



then my buddy jamie came over and welded it up



then i got a lil bored and started fitting the rest of the aero and i liiiiike!!



then threw one of the battles on for a quick test fit before the bc racing coils get here





its gonna sit nice and low when the coils and arms go on... i cant wait!!

not much of an update yet but i scored some seats...



waiting on some stuff to show up this week from xcessive, drive shaft, diff bushings, suspension arms and seat brackets

only thing id say is just a tad less poke up front, otherwise looks mint

got some more shit done this weekend... picked up my wheels from Cape Customs, 2 candy teal and 2 candy raspberry =)



then Kris got me side tracked and we wanted to see what the aero would look like mocked up



then we got working on the pedal assemblies... since these cars never came 5 speed i had to get creative... i used a clutch master from a 1990 celica gts, a pedal assembly from a mk3 supra... had to drill out the holes in the clutch pedal so it would clock the pedal so the top hole would line up with an existing hole in the car

then for the gas pedal i needed a throttle cable from a mk4 supra... so where the fuck would i find one of those in the upull around here lol... so i called up toyota and and gave them that part number and the cross referenced it for me and its the same one as an sc400.... perfect cuz there was one at the upull.... scored that and the pedal assembly just incase... it fit perfect on the stock cressi pedal except for the mounting bracket for the pedal... i needed the one off the sc400 so im glad a grabbed it... got it all bolted up and bam! 5 speed x8 cressida!



my buddy shane is coming over tomorrow while im at work to knock out all the wiring for me so hopefully tomorrow i can throw some oil in it and coolant and see if she starts! fingers crossed!!

junk yard run was a success!! found a mk3 supra so i took the clutch pedal and the shifter since mine was all sorts of fucked up... going back tomorrow for a longer throttle calbe.... also got my aero in today from Serialnine!!

had to put the motor in and out about 3 times to do some hammering on the trans tunnel and fire wall but its in and fits like a glove!!



the Xcessive mounts and brackets worked awesome... i mean just look at that shifter placement!



Serialnine aero and the rest of my fuel system will be here tomorrow... susp. arms, bc coils, drive shaft and seat brackets will be here wed! shits happening!!
