  • 08 xB build paint and stance in the works.

I've been lurking this forum for a while trying to learn as much as I can and just thought I would start a build thread.

The paint is finally finished and recently I've been trying to go in a different direction then most of the Gen2 xB's out there.

btw Sorry about the picture quality in advance...I have ZERO photographic skill lol.

Paint was a slow process. Shaved the door handles the xB badge, am/fm antenna, rear wiper and wiper fluid valve.

After the painter spraid on the graphics. Kinda of a culmination of 5 different ideas that I liked but didn't love. Alberto at OneExtreme did a hell of a job flowing all my ideas together to make something that really fit my personality artistically.

After Clear. K-Sports installed. So over Chome after these pictures lol.

Flash Forward a few more months...
Picked up a roof rack on C-list and went shopping at Weapon-R.

Finally having the time to work the stance. I started to design brackets to run my k-sports with UA aerosports in the front and and brackets for the rear also. Thanks to the guys at realcamber.com for making me some -3 camber for the xB.

My wheels are xxr-522's. I know most of you are all about the real wheels but after paint its going to be a while before I can afford my volks lol.
    Wheel specs
    Front: 19x8.5 +15
    Rear: 19x10 +20
    Tires Front: Falken 452's 235x25x19
    Tires Rear: Falken 452's 235x35x19

Thanks for looking. Let me know what you think!

Thanks, I was going for something similar to comic book art... Layered colors and hard vivid lines. I was really happy with how it came out.

        The work looks awesome!

But personally i just find the xB to be an ugly square car. I have seen alot of them on here, this is by far one of the better looking.

Thank you!. The Xb really isn't for everybody but I've always liked weird little cars for some reason.

That paint job is nuts! I say go a little bit lower though.

Oh for sure the height is still set for my old wheels. The front has a lot of gap. I'm hoping I can get my manual valve set-up put together by November.

Thanks for the comments on the paint.

Haha thanks I've luckily been getting a lot of good feedback on it. My old man hates it but he also wasn't to happy about me buying a scion at first lol.

I really don't like the yellow spatters, but I love the ghosted designs on the bottom half- both the colour combination and the actual artwork look awesome.
