I feel you bud.. When i stop driving my 92 accord and picked up my 2011 Kia, it took a long while for me to get use to the newness. I kinda miss the love **** relationship we had, but now the new car is stating to wear on me.. The feel and comutes are 1000x times more desirable... It'll take some time but you'll get use to it..

Ugh... I had to order new mirror turn signals (which are backordered A LOT) because the BFI ones I have are junk and are faulty...
On a positive note, I did drop the Jetta off at Altered Image Customs in Plainfield today. They had done a great job getting my Mk4 sitting right, so now we'll see how they do with the Mk5.
I should have it back in couple days, and I couldn't be more anxious! I just wish the in-pros would get here sooner... oh well, at least it will have uncracked lenses for pictures...Last edited by MrJereMoose; 11-03-2012, 05:00 PM.

To be honest, I miss the Mk4 although there are a lot of things I enjoy about the Mk5.
The mk5 feels really big and there are less cheap modifications that can be done.
That being said, sometimes the extra room is nice, and there are some pretty good creature comforts. The best thing is that it's 7 years newer than my old Mk4 so it is a lot more reliable. I can drive all day long and not feel uncomfortable at all, which is really good.
Overall it's too new for me, but it's growing on me. Before i got in it, I could not wait to upgrade, but I was disappointed at first.
