Cheers mate, That was the plan really. Still miles away from what i want but seen as i recently moved in with the missus spare money has dried up! lol So modding has also dried up which is a bummer!

But i'm taking it over to belgium for the VAG-OPEL show (I no its a Ford but going with the club im with) and see what they think to it.

I've got 19's on mine to fill the huuuge arch's, and on coilies fully down at the back (with adjuster still in) and fronts have about 10mm thread left on them lol

The rally cross experience sounded like fun too. lol

Haha yeah it looked epic. I was going to ride along with him on one of his last events, but then when he hit the deer, those plans fizzled out

He doesn't want to rally cross it anymore b/c he said he ***** cleaning it afterwards (he litereally had mud falling out from under the car for months after.......his parking space turned brown, lol). He was talking about finishing the cage and time attacking it, so who knows what the fate of the car will be.

Its funny....I live with my two best friends, and we're all 3 into cars for different reasons. I'm the die hard car lover.........but when it really boils down to it, i'm more of a profiler/poser than anything, as I rarely race my car and push it to it's limits. Kris (Focus) is the know it all with anything on the mechanical aspect of cars, and as a result, puts in all the wrench time on all of our cars.....and he's the only one out of all 3 of us that actually races his car. And then theres Jeff.......who has an '06 STI.....who likes cars......but more or less just has the STI to add to his already extremely arrogant nature.

Def not stanced though. He's got 17" Enkei EV5's in hyperblack (they basically look gunmetal) + H&R sport springs/KYB GR-2's. He used to freakin rally cross it believe it or not. Funniest thing (and I have pics) is he rally crossed it on 18" Kazera KZ-5's w/ bald 35 profile Kuhmo Ecstas It was a sight to behold.......his Focus sitting there among the masses of full on rally prepped WRXs, AWD Celicas and Saabs.......which all had dirt tires on them....lol. He actually finished 4th overall in his class, which is nuts b/c he didn't finish the season due in part to hitting a deer.

No, to be honestly, he does very little online. He's the quiet/loner/possible future serial killer type.....but I love him like my brother, and he's been one of my best friends for years, lol. I met him through cars/skateboarding back in the day when he moved to my area from another highschool.

He's not even on the focus boards (i.e. focaljet). He seems to have lost alot of interested in cars lately.......when his trans broke, he was in the market for a 2nd vehicle, so he picked up a used Ford Explorer Sportrac (which was AWESOME for tailgating on the 4th....i'll get a pic up later), and he's been more focused on that than the Focus project here lately it seems. But he's insistent on saying the build will be up and running by the end of the year........so we'll see what happens.

That does sound like a crazy frankenstein build lol. Has got a blog of the build?

And the reason i don't want spacers at the front is the wheels isnt as tucked as rear, and it gets driven hard and already scrapes on corners so don't really want to flush them anymore.

He's fitting a turbo to the 2.0. He's pretty much pieced it all together thusfar. Its like the mother of all frakenstein builds. I believe he's got a stock EVO 8 turbo, he's going to run a custom under the hood intercooler setup using my other roomate's stock STI intercooler and will be using a custom scoop/duct on the hood to route air to it, and he's fabbing the manifold, IC piping and brackets himself.......AND tuning it himself. I told him if he pulls it off without a hitch, then he's a genuis, lol. Speaking of franken-builds, he was also rocking a stock leather WRX back seat (now removed....making room for a cage), and he's still rocking the stock leather WRX shift knob, lol.

Those cars are WAY cooler than ours. NICE!

IMO you could use spacers all around, not just in the rear.
