  • So I Spray Painted My Car The Other Day.

Alright so I was tired of the old paint color and wanted something new. I remember deciding on a color while driving to the store ha...The pictures show the process somewhat and the almost complete outcome that im quite happy with. Also this was all done in my neighbors driveway which is currently forsale hahah. oh and they were taken with iPhone 4

    what it looked like.

This was the first stage of sanding early in the process as i made it around the car...

Then came the primar and very minor rust repair.

I started paint on the trunk and was worried a little...

But things got easier as more coats went on haha.

    And the result.

And we proceeded to pop bottles.

So Im quite happy with how it turned out compared to what it used to be. It still needs to be wetsanded(tomorrow) and then touchedup in other areas but not too much work.

Next comes new tires, wheel refinishing (if you didnt notice my newly bent lip on the rear passenger wheel. hope to send them to Rotiform ) Give me some wheel color ideas.

Oh and this is the newly(as of today) paved road we have its great.

And this red line represents about how steep it my driveway is. the transition or whatever you call it is so steep i have to park on the street. the driveway is also really long

Thanks and let me know what you think

I actually liked the blue better myself. But your car, your choice.

                Looks good either way though

Do you live on Lake Washington (I think I see it in the background)?

I'll reserve judgement on the color and such until I see the car in person. One of the cars I'm really stoked about in my neck of the woods.

hmm whats next..ive been saving up for a 20v blacktop swap hopefully soon. also getting new tires, and the wheels refinished by Rotiform although yes id much rather find some 15x9 negative offset Longchamps or some other vintage JDM goodness

                          any wheel color suggestions?

suggestion for the wheels in white
