damn.... I miss my spectra...looked like yours, just way stock, with tx legal tint and a 5 sp. good car, handled everything I threw at it.

Just called to price wheels. 17's aren't made anymore and the highest offset I can get is 12mm.
With that said:
16x8 et 12 front
16x8 et 0 rear
195/45's all around. A 9" wheel would be perfect in the rear, but it goes from 8" to 10". I played with a wheel calculator and there is no way a 10" wheel would fit. I'd have to have like 2" of poke.
As it were the above specs would give me 1/2" of poke front a rear with stock fenders. I think a roll/pull could make them work.
Opinions?

In due time. It'll be lower here within the next month. Not a 1/2" lower, more like 1.5" or so.

I'm just wondering about how S.Drives stretch. There seems to be mixed opinions out there about them.

Yeah. I would be all over fender work if there was someone around here with a roller. I know I'll have to roll the lip anyways, but I would do that with a rubber mallet. To run 8.5's I would need a minor pull too.

lol.
I'll have to think about it.
With the proposed width and specs I want to run it is probably the most aggressive set-up to be done on one of these cars.
The rear is going to have to stay at 9 though. Any wider and I'll either have mexi-poke or the wheel will hit the trailing arm for the suspension. Unless I make custom arms, there is no way around that.

I'd like to go 8.5" in the front, but when I had 7.5's they were a tight fit with a pussy offset. With coils there is even less room yet.
