I'm bored so I figured I would update this.
Ordered Megan coilovers and they will be here next week. Going to pick up some more steel wheels this weekend (I'm too poor for something cool).
So the plan is paint the wheels, mount the tires, install coils and spin them all the way down to see where I am at. I might have to get shorter springs for the front so I can be as low as I want to be. Part of the reason I went with Megan is they make the springs I could potentially need.

Little update.
Found these at my doorstep tonight: Right out of the box:
Greased and adjusted. Front is all the way down and the rear has 40mm to go. I'm sure they will have to be adjusted some, but this should be a good baseline:
Also my new wheel color:
Its not everyones taste, but neither is a Kia. I'm just working with what I got.

Installed coils today and did an alignement. Fronts are all the way down and I am pretty bummed with the results:
Gonna take out all the lock rings at some point and look into shorter springs. Oh yeah, I like my wheel color by the way...lol

I just checked and Megan makes 50mm shorter springs so I'll probably end up getting those. The only other problem I can foresee is CV boot issues and tie rod clearance. The threaded rod the tie rod is on is about a 1/2" from the frame.
