Cherokee for sure. Preferably an XJ.

baker, it is kinda sad nut I'm really ready for something else. Your car was fricken awesome as well. The next car I buy to modify, with a little hope, will be an aircooled 911. For now, an SUV type thing makes more sense with the other hobbies I have.

Its sad to see this thing go. I know exactly how you're feeling man, I stripped my car down last weekend and its now up for sale with a bad torque converter. I also headed in the same direction sort of for winter and picked up a 98 cr-v. But hey man, this is something we can always get involved with again later on

    Yeah.

Giving up cars for now while I chase a different career. In the meantime I want something I can have fun with in the winter and in the summer. A Jeep to me is perfect for that.

    Decided for good this time.

Coils are out and wheels are already for sale. I need to see if the coils are even worth selling or not. Going to part as much of the car as I can. It's getting an alignment tomorrow and maybe some tires next week then it'll be whored out on craiglist.

    The end.

So I think I am going to keep the car now. Just can't bring myself to sell it. Someone is interested in it but I think I just love this little thing too much.

Planning to pull the coils out and roll at stock height for a bit. I want to re-build them and re-valve them and do some bolt-on motor work. I'll also clean the wheels up over winter again and come spring she'll be sitting better than ever.

It was for sale month ago, the FS thread has just drifted back a bunch of pages and I never bumped it.

As for my next car, it won't be KDM. My brother has gotten me into Saab's and I've found a 9-5 Aero I really want.

I want to drop it a little but it will not be slammed. Stance is fun and all, but after 2 years off dd'ing a car like this it gets pretty old pretty fast. Focus on the Saab will be to add power and just make it fun to drive.

That's the plan anyways if I can manage to sell this.
Damn, I really wish I would have seen this. Instead I dropped 17 grand on a 2010 51k mile gen coupe base(never buy from carmax they are lying SOB's and made me pay a stupid high dealer fee, and the car has previous accident damage, and an oil leak)

Would have saved me tons since I would have my elantra as a parts car for the spectra.

DD'ing a low car in cali isn't bad, you just have to swerve a lot. It's probably a lot more fun with a low car here in cali than compared to NY.

Whatever you get, I hope you have as much fun with it as much as you did with your spectra and then some.
