Nah just keeping them painted silver. I like silver wheels. And screw having polsihed wheels as winters. haha

I like the disco wheels. You gunna polish them up? I reckon brushed aluminium finish would look good for those and won't be such a pain to keep shiny in the winter

Mine got ripped off one side wit a big bang. lol.Originally posted by Tuck&Poke View PostHaha, I had mine dangling for a long time on my car, and then one day I attempted a speedbump and one side fell of and it was dragging on the ground, I pulled over and threw it into the median
Me and you have very different tastes then. I **** colour coded bump strips and sill covers on passats. They look gash. And so would colour coding the bentleys to my seats. The discovery wheels were dirt cheap and so are the adaptors and i happen to like them. Im bored with the bentleys anyway tbh mate. Wanted something smaller for more low.Originally posted by G535 View PostGet rid of those Discovery wheels ASAP!!! They look awful! Dont throw money outta window for adaptors - youre gonna be bored with these all too soon!
I suggest to keep the Bentleys and colormatch them to your interior and paint your rub strips your body color!

Discovery wheels. Need to get adaptors made. But only £160 for a custom set of 4. Got the wheels really cheap! But still ned the bentleys gone before I buy tyres and adaptors! These will be acting as winters/new wheels until i get air ride.
What cha think?

Thanks guys and yeah the bench grinders make polishing a lot easier but still a lot of sanding involved!. More new wheels should be here tomorrow to satisfy me need for low until i get air ride.

Fuck I've got to get one of those, hand polishing is killing meOriginally posted by LukeyBabes View PostFinally got my hands on a strong enough bench grinder to polish stuff. Had to buy it though. Tried one after the one i had which was 250 watts and still wasnt strong enough. Had to buy a £50 375 watt one from screwfix.
Anyway, Pictures.

Did a Hex nut today. And started cleaning the nuts and bolts and barrels up. There is about 4 hours work in this one hex nut! And thats after stripping the paint off!
Obviously this in the finished article! And this is my picture!

This is a before and after

I like how i was trying to focus on it but the camera decided to focus on the reflection! HAHA

There is some lacquer left in the little dimple on the bolt which im not sure how to get out? Any ideas?
