Well just got the car and started to work on it

96 Cabrio w/ TDI motor and 5 speed swap

needs some love but I have fallen in love with it...only drove it one time so far

plans:
coils (b&g)
wheels (prolly bbs rs)
new top
smoked headlights
some other stuff

parts so far:
oem euro trunk
oem euro textured top bumpers
oem euro dual fan rad/rebar
oem euro amber markers

its my plan, wont look all that great but its gonna make it there....ie ill be spraying the trunk and bumpers

the motor from the 98 jetta was my car I was going to take down last year but then it was totaled on thursday before the show about 1 mile from my house

im prolly gonna run the duckbill cuz im going for real low not fake lip low...my tdi jetta used to rub na lip

just threw on the bumpers for a test fitl, they will be painted white

well here is the car that started it all with the cabrio

i just had finished this a few days before leaving for h20 on thursday

So I was driving along about 1 mile away from my house and bam I nailed a guy that ran a red light( and not like it turned red...about 10 other people went throught this light in the direction i was going) he was late for work

strut tower ripped away from the body which resulted in the car being totaled

damn dude that sucks your jetta looked good but if you put those wheels on the cabrio its gonna look sick especially since its TDI also

currently working on wheels for the cabrio...not sure what to get tho

prolly gonna go with 16x8 rs but they dont have much lip right now which isnt good but they are simple

and i wanna run 15s again but i feel like 16s are gonna look better and make me be able to go alot lower
