Only really a lil update as havnt had much time for the car recently Uni work keeping me busy so she been neglected. Plus with the amount of things breaking on her recently havnt had any spare cash to splash on her, need to do something big to her to make me fall in love with her again as im starting to consider selling her and going different route away from minis.

Any way now the updates:

Got one of those eBay short shifters the other day which our just copies of the BM short shifter just tad shorter. So was off to minicraft to get it fitted as well as a new driveshaft only to find out that ganna need to replace all my ball joints and need new wishbones

First impressions .... fuck me its short! :laugh: took while to get used to it but its alot nicer to use over stock defiantly changes gear lot quicker and smoother. However one slight issue I found was that the old gear knob lil bit too big for the stalk as I discovered when it come off in my hand as I changed gear while doing 80!

So this ment it was time for new knob as its now a screw thread instead shitty clip there now plenty of lovely knobs for me to wrap my hands round.

nice car man, but i honestly think you shouldnt of put on steelies, i mean buy some real wheels, not steelies.

i mean i dont have much room to talk because i have xxr's but its a start, i mean dream wheels used to be like old ssr mk1's back then, then not too long ago it was work equips and legit work wheels or volks and now its steelies.

i feel like you should be different and not put on steelies, other than the wheels i feel like your spot on, and IMO you kinda went over board on the stickerbombing ha

Cheers for the comment I see were your coming from on wheels front they be changed soon but just saving up for air ride atm so they getting shoved on hold till thats sorted got my eyes set on some borbet A first then change them up for somthing else. Problem is car my daily so dont really wont really expensive wheels incase they get fucked least with the steelies its sort of a compromise.

Plus unlike most car scenes like the VW or Honda scene the MINI scene is still quite far behind only recently like last couple years that more and more MINIs are actually been done up more and are moving away from the dealer list options. So in terms of of steelies being on everyones cars atm in the MINI world there only 2 I know of in the UK at least that are running some its only when i go to shows like players that you realise how many are on them.

Yeah its a marmite thing with the sticker bombing Im still fairly fond of it but if u saw the finish on the plastic underneath it your see how the stickers make a nice change lol

Havnt updated this bad boy in a while decided to get round to painting my my aero grill in preparation for MITP. All painted and finished this morning, quite pleased by way it turned out not bad for first attempt at painting bit rough but no doubt need repainting in year or so from stone chips.

loving this build man! the steelies were a great idea

thanks man I'm happy with way they turned out, although bitch to keep clean.

I think it's time to lower this bad boy, clean up the stickers and make it clean.

saving up for air ride atm so leaving it like this so every time i see it it will act as an incentive for me to hurry up and get the money together so i can have it frame laying.

keeping the stickers for a while till i get bored with them.
