This has got potential. Until you've got some money for some decent wheels, at least space the current wheels out. I'd say 20mm front, 30mm rear per wheel.
Though, I will never understand why anyone would ever do any kind of work to a KIA. My company car is a '08 Kia Picanto and I **** it with a bloody passion because it's just so... ugh. Feels like a cheap toy car. I can't imagine that other Kias are any better. But if you like the car, that's all that matters!

possibly new tires with some stretch or new wheels in general
paint (if i can afford it)

Well there isn't a home depot lip. And I'm going lower after the winter. And it's my first car\wheels/ build so can't expect the best.
