went a new direction with the front bumper. figured if it was going to take so long i might as well do it right. got something custom for the oetty front and rear that should be pretty nuts if i can pull it off.
my shop had 5 cars go to sema. there hasnt been any progress in a month. engine is in the car, though its not hooked up. once it was in i saw the need to improve some of the tuck and wiring. probably some powdercoating. hopefully i can bring in the new year with something new for you guys. i do have an update of all red taillights. not worth posting though. haha
Don't mind them stupid fucks getting angry about a project taking time when it's not even their own project.
Take the time you need to finish it, the only thing that matters is a amazing result on this project.
have you seen the build? ive seen this car maybe 6 times since its been to the shop. i have a 4 runner for a daily, so i dont really care about when the car finishes. i just want it done before i go back to school, otherwise it wont be done until next summer
nice build, but how do you not know your car hasnt been painted? let alone for a few weeks, i like the car but wish you had gone through with the metal fenders instead of just molding them
well i was under the impression the car was painted a few weeks back since my guy said he was shooting it the next day, but apparently a guy came in with 3 datsun 510's and an elcamino that needed to all be restored in a specific time frame. i wouldve mounted the sideskirts in the picture they were just too hard to get too. i put the coilovers and new tires on yesterday. sides, front, bodywork is all done. needs some more smoothing on the passenger side front fender and just a little more on the rear bumper. he says he needs my car out before august (and so do i). I have the time to work on it until school starts back up so ill be on his ass about it. heres a quick snap of the height though. more updates soon. and the rear tire is flat in thios picture, thats why it looks beefy
really happy with how the fenders and ride height came out. wanted it subtle but noticeable. the guy who sold me the wheels has a full set of bolts hes sending me so hopefully i can PC them gold or bronze. should come out pretty dope!
Man just made a account just to say great job, initially reading this I was disappointed that it never got complete, was difficult reading 23 pages. but then again i would never be ambitious enough to start something like this. So keep up the good work man, dont let these ppl get to u.
ur car, ur life, ur build
Maybe someday ill pick ur brain about this i got a B6 S4 with all the oetty goodies, and i feel like i cant do anything more, as its pretty complete. But it needs to be wider i want 275's under it.
