  • The Golf MKV

Found some time to make a thread of my car, hope you guys like it Have it for allmost 2 years now..

Just got the car from the factory :

Got it lowered on weitec coilovers (wich didn't get low at all), removed the rear wiper and put some bright licenseplate leds.

Then had a GTI front, but it didn't turn out the way i wanted it to be with the chrome strips... :

Got the bumper back off and the original one back, next step were wheels, so i bought me some polished fat fives :

The weitecs didn't go low enough, i was on the lowest in the pics. Searched for some shorter KW springs for the back, and they got me dropped like this. Now the fronts didnt go low enough anymore so it looked like i had a bag of cement in the back...

Found some racesprings from kw very fast for the front with an adjusted springholder and finally got it right :

Driving this low on belgian roads is crap i can assure you...

The fatfives are great wheels, but i wanted to step it up a little bit, so i bought RH ZW1 in 17" in 8.5 & 9.5. I was still on springs...

Now the car was even lower than on the 18" fives so decided to go for bags, wich gave me this. I also blacked out the front grille :

Just before winter i bought a EU Jetta bumper for the next season and test fitted it :

Didn't have much plans anymore with it but we know how it is, the forumwatching makes you crazy !

Decided to redo the wheels in a simple but eyecatching color. Went for some kind of brown with golden bolts and porsche caps.

Wasn't too sure about it but it turned out better than i thought. Bough me some hella xenon headlights too :

Winter was allmost over by that time and i was ready to mount everything onto the car. Decided to add some yellow fogs too... It was still rainy but i couldn't hold it any longer :

After this stage i was happy with how it sat but i was allready tired of the wheels Color change wasn't as good as i thought so they had to go...

Did a show with them at UK Ultimate Dubs :

They really had to go, so a final photoshoot with kevve closed this chapter...

While the RH were sold and i didn't want to run stock, i tried some 19" Mercedes wheels :

Not really what i hoped for but good enough to come trough the waiting on the new wheels...

Bought an RCD510 touchscreen from vw too and had some plans with the interior.

While waiting the Performance VW came out with a grouprepo :

And then finally the golf was 98% complete for me... GTI interior and BBS RS 17" 8.5&9 with an 195/40 on it..
