well been in south wales for just over a week now and its rained constantly! so when i heard on the news that the weather is supposed to be good for the bank holiday weekend i gave her a well needed wash! and i hadnt put any upto date pics in a while so thought id get the camera out and take some pics!
hmm. I really need to get cold air to my intake and this might be a really good way to do it. I'm just worried that water could easily get sucked into it. I had a friend who hydro-locked his motor last year here. I wonder if I could create some type of slit in the lower back of the tubing to allow the water to escape out with minimal air flow loss. I guess I will have to get to work in Inventor 3D and come up with something.
i've had it on for over a year now and i've had no dramas with it sucking up water etc i did try and post a video clip but for some reason it wont work?
and the tubing was all part of the kit! its called a pipercross viper! (carbon fibre one)
happy to help mate but what do you mean by lower side?
i have the feed coming through a brake duct at the mo which isn't ideal hence why i got that mesh with the 2 intakes in
That was what I was wondering about. How do you plan to not suck up water with that setup? You are sure as heck going to get some good air flow though!
