I know this thread pretty much sucks from lack of updates, but I'm not working as many hours at work so I'm finally starting to make some real progression. I've moved out of my parents and finally gotten a garage of my own! And I've also kinda burnt myself out on forums in general, I'm just so sick of everything becoming a pissing contest and the arguments. But I love lurking for information, very helpful.
SR is IN! just need to hook everything up and replace some small stuff like fuel lines and other misc. small stuff that should be done on a 26 year old car.
Out with the SOHC KA

Painted bay

SR so puuurrrty

Wiring Specialties sent me a harness with the wrong injector plugs, so once I get that back in the mail, I can start piecing everything back together. In the meantime I've been doing little stuff like polishing everything I can, power steering reservoir, power steering lines, windshield wiper motor, just stuff to kill time.
Don't have any pictures of the inside right now, but redid the headliner and door cards in black suede and dyed all my interior pieces from grey to black, new black carpet, blah, blah. It's finally started coming together though and that makes me happy.-Brandon-

Holy shit, I've had a pic of your car saved on my computer for a few years now and recently tried figuring out what the hell size wheels you had because they are the best looking wheels on a S13. Now I know, haha. Glad to see you're back and making some progress. Keep up the great work.

Thanks man, they're one of my all time favorites.
Got some more progress done in the past couple weeks,
- cut the hole for my intercooler cold pipe
- got front mount mocked up, but broke the head off a bolt. These are the little things that annoy me most when working on something. Lol
- power steering reservoir and lines hooked up
- upgraded fuel pump installed
-sanded and painted brake booster cover
- almost done polishing all the brake hard lines
Got my harness back from Wiring Specialties, So now I'll be able to run that through the firewall and start putting my dash back together and the rest of the interior.
Now I'm waiting on an order of couplers and new t clamps to get here so I can get my intercooler piping all fitted and my intake mocked up.
I'll post some pictures tomorrow afternoon, I also have have some more pictures during the sound deadening install. Pain in the ass, but I can already tell by just closing the doors, that they sound way more solid and quiet. Using dry ice on the old stuff was sweet though!Last edited by RedE46Bimmer; 01-04-2016, 11:26 PM.-Brandon-

Alright well got some more progress done.
Cut the hole for my cold pipe, kind of misjudged it, but made it work.

Started putting my brake lines back up after polishing them, they're more of a "brushed" look, but they look way better than the dingy green coated shits they were.

Everything is just pretty much mocked up. Made some measurement miscalculations when ordering my couplers, who knew inner diameter and outer diameter made such a big difference in couplers.

Here's some prior pictures I had of the interior tear down. Used dry ice and isopropanol alcohol to make a gel to pull up all the old sound deadening. That part was super cool, science FTMFW!

While I'm piecing everything back together I decided to make little rubber washers to hopefully cut down on all the little rattles and creaks. probably stupid and unnecessary, but whatever.
Here's a pic of the fake suede headliner, I did the door cards too, but I'm going to have to re-do them as they didn't turn out as I'd hoped.

New black carpet
