    A little over a 7.5" drop now

I could of run smaller sidewall tires to avoid tubbing it, but I think the sidewall in relation the the fender well shape is important for looks. I'm running a 245/35 on the wheels to help fill out the larger fender openings.

I do want to do some more engine detailing as you mentioned, among other things.

Finally have gotten to drive it. I also got my intake done. It was hard to find something that would work with the tubs. I found this ebay kit for a subaru baja. I had to mount it differently than intended and modify it a bit, but it works.

    Not a stupid question!

I didn't just leave the diff out, I gutted and welded my center diff. So that it is always going to the rear wheels. They sell spools to do the same thing but they're expensive!

I like where this is going, the forester is a cool weird thing and it looks awesome with a proper stance
I tried to keep some of the clutter down Lol
