The way you explain about tubbing a forester like it's the easiest 2-hours job ever is awesome LOL
I like where this is going, the forester is a cool weird thing and it looks awesome with a proper stance

SG Forester from PA
I've wanted a Forester for quite a while now. Been on the lookout for one, and one day someone offered to trade me theirs for my Jetta I had.
This was my static jetta

and this was the Forester the first day I got it

It had a light bar instead of a grill, and hazed up headlights. So I got an OEM grill and new headlights

Then I did the timing belt, tensioners, water pump, and a lightweight main pulley

The coils were frozen and leaking oil so I got new ones

and new wheels with much smaller tires. 245/35 vs the 255/55 that were on it when I bought the car. The new wheels are 18x9.5

extended studs with a 12x1.5 thread pitch so I could run my motorsport hardware lugs

I re-badged it

I wasn't able to drive it after I put the wheels and coils on. The wheels sat flat on the wheel wells. So I decided to tub it and shave a few things.

Some clearance now

Figuring out how I wanted the tubs

Thankfully the STI has a nice sized hatch for the sheetmetal I got

Had to remove this stuff to get to my brake lines for my ABS delete. While in here figured I should do the cabin filter, to my surprise someone went to change it and never put one back in.

Replaced my window motor

Had a knob and shift boot made for it from a pin I chose.

and the completed tubs
