  • Renault Megane Coupé

    Hi !
I've been here for a while, as a "submarine" viewer
I noticed the euro scene is mostly german there

So, here it is, from France, my french lil car.
From 1999, this one comes with an 1.6 16v engine, 107hp from factory.
    I bougth it in 2013.
This is my only car, so it wont be an extreme build.

    What has been done:
    -Car radio: Alpine 173BT
-Aluminium door handles (interior) coming from a Clio)
    -White side blinkers (Clio 2.2)
-Speakers rear: Hertz DCX 130 +front: KE DSK 165
-Painted exterior trunk-push button and door handles
    -Delete of the rear wiper
    -Delete of the backseat
-Leather gear knob from a Clio 2
    -Schock absorber: Kayaba Ultra SR
    -Springs: Eibach Pro-Kit -30
    -OMP Strut braces
-Rims "Speedline Monte-Carle" from R21 TXI (15*6.5" /15.4lbs-7.4KG) Instead of the 17.6lbs-15*6" from factory.
    -LED interior ligths
-Ligther spare wheel from a Laguna
-Stainless steel exhaust - tip deleted
    -Holes in da hood !!!

    Curently:
-White dashboard from a late builded Coupé
    -Supersprint stainless steel manifold 4-1
    -New paint for the rims

    Future mods
-Half leather seats and leather door panels
    -Modified intake manifold

    When i bougth it

    Some pics of the mods

It was still on an awful ride heigth

As im still working on it, the topic will be update !

Always liked those Megane's. But yeah, it needs to lose some height.

The car is on standard heigth in some of the pics.
You can notice the lowering on the 5th pic
Unfortunatly, good coilovers are costing an arm and a leg for these cars, and i won't sacrifice form to function on this one :p

Here is a closer pic, this is the front atm

And, yes i need wider rims, actually searching for some ligther 15*7 (either some RPF1 or Slipstream replica)
