  • esdafoo's W201 build

Hi, my name is Manu, I'm french from Quebec Canada so my english is'nt perfect. I bought a black 92 W201 with black interior, black leather seats..

Last summer, I put a little money on it:

    Avantagarde S600 grill
Crystal clear headlights + corners (I customized the headlights with a blackhousing)
    Smoked AMG taillights
    B&G S2 lowering springs
    Bilstein HD shocks/struts
    Topspeed Pro-1 rear camber arms
    Mercedes C-Series AMG wheels (18x8.5 and 18x9.5, 35mm offset)
Nankang NS-II 215/35R18 tires, front and... rear!
    Front 23mm swaybar
W124 400E front brakes upgrade (4 pistons calipers with 12 inches rotors)
    W124 500E rear brakes upgrade
    Braided stainless brake lines

Right now, the old engine is removed, I'm shaving all the engine bay, wire tuck, brakeline tuck, 100% custom brake line system with hydraulic handbrake. I redone ALL the wiring inside and out with standard under-dash fusebox from a Honda Civic. I also integrated Honda gauges in the Benz cluster for the new engine, working with Dakota Digital signal converters.

I don't like the suspension much so I'm putting new suspension.. STD Drift Spec E36 coilovers. I'll also rematch the swaybars setup.

The new engine is a 2JZGTE from Toyota Supra. Big FMIC, electrical 3.5" exhaust cutout out of the right fender with mandrel-benz (playing with the words lol) stainless 3" exhaust, external gas pump with custom gas system front to back, custom watermethanol injection system. Every fittings and parts are anodized black, black/purple or chrome.

I also got a Nissan Skyline R32 GT-R rear VLSD differential to put on the car to hold the additional horsepowerS (with a big S lol) and I hope it will do some nice drifts!

I will also doing some work in the trunk. Purple external fuel pump in the up-middle, Braille Auto 6.6lbs carbon fiber battery on left and the watermethanol system on right.. all of this on a full lenght carbon fiber plate.

Everything is custom and done by me.

Here some random pics of misc parts I got and some work done (not all the parts are shown right now):

    The blue is now black

This is also black anodized now (fuel rail fitting)

The red body will be purple anodized

700hp rated fuel pump, it will be enough for the moment

Few inches of gas hose haha

    Wilwood adjustable prop valve

    Bungs for gas tank

brake fittings, some more not pictured

Clutch master cylinder for handbrake system

The ONLY brake lines you will see on the car

    Testing the retrofited gauges

Boost activated adjustable switch for methanol injection

    Skyline R32 GT-R rear subframe

Last RPMs of the old engine : [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xGRh_tJaJe8"]SDC10001.AVI - YouTube[/ame]

Engine out, little shaving, cleaning and subframe cutted

Wiring nightmare begins (will post new wiring soon)

I already got some 215/35R18 on AMG C-class wheels 8.5 and 9.5". It's not a big stretch but it's ok for the moment.

The car wiring is almost complete with the honda civic fusebox. The dash is in. I'll post new pictures soon.

I anodized the fittings myself, it's all custom.
