So I thought I'd set up a build thread for my Saab 9-3. I bought it standard in 2014 to replace my Mk1 Seat Leon.
It's a 2005 9-3 1.9TiD Sport with the Hirsch performance remap to 175bhp.
The day I picked it up
Next up some 19" Vectra VXR alloys
Rear window tints
After the window tints I really wanted to go down the stealth route so I got the VXR wheels sprayed gloss black
To continue the stealth look the front windows also got tinted
Next up came the big change! While on holiday I came across some 19x9 and 19x10 BMW X5 Style 132 wheels and had to have them! To get them to fit, I ordered some 20mm H&R adapters and some coilovers to get it sitting nicely. As you can probably guess, the missus wasn't happy at all with me ordering car parts while on holiday.
Once home I sent the wheels off to The Wheel Specialist and had them powder coated in Candy Apple Red and here is how she looked.
Some preparation before a local car show, nice and shiny!
And the show pics
Next came the sad day where I put her in for a hot hatch. A 2010 Vauxhall Corsa VXR which I played about with but couldn't get away with
So this happened again, 6 months after owning the Corsa I bought another Saab which I pick up next week and I CAN'T WAIT!!
firstly the Corsa
More importantly the Saab! She is a 2006 9-3 2.0T Aero 210bhp 5 speed with only 41k miles!
More pics to come once I have picked her up and then to begin the slow process of modifying. And I do mean SLOW, trying to buy a house and modify a car isn't easy!
