Hey i am still here.
Waiting for bits to arrive, still waiting on the RTD shifter then i will go to BMW to get all new clips little rubber bushings and basically everything new to fit it all.
then got a few other bits to do and then it is getting taken to a BMW specialist to have the starting issue figured out, they are also going to look over everything i have done to make sure its all working and correct. i am going to also get them to replace all the brake hardline whilst it is there too.
In other news,
I FINALLY managed to get the spoiler I've wanted. I have taken about 4 years to hunt one of these down and i finally managed to find one and at a stupid cheap price at that too!!
its the AC Schnitzer 3 piece, genuine too.

Looking great! Never saw this on a Coupe before, but I really like it.
By the way, your wheels are "Mille Miglia Chronos". They are quite popular in the VW scene, but very rare in 17" and with 5x120. I saw a set for sale years ago and thought that they would look sweet on an E36. Back then I did not have the money for another set of wheels, but I'm glad to finally see 17" Chronos on an E36.
Please keep on updating, thank you.Tut DAS denn Not, dass der Karren so tief is?

Thanks man, I've done some research on getting them to fit a coupe and they need quite a bit of work but I got a good bodyshop guy who is going to be painting my car so I will let him do the messing around with it and it should look like a factory fit. I mentioned in your thread i also have the AC Schnitzer genuine roof spoiler I am going to place this on the car and see if I fancy fitting this too... I am unsure on the roof spoilers but they may look good together.Originally posted by Steven_318ti View PostAwesome Ben, love this spoiler on the coupe, was never a fan of it on the TI, I think its too short for the side pieces, will look class
Thank youOriginally posted by 83N View Postbest of luck with the running issues bro!
I am waiting on a few things to arrive and then it is going to a local BMW specialist to get it all sorted out for me, I am also going to have them go over everything that I've done to ensure its all safe.
MAKE IT HAPPEN! they are such a good fun car to drive and can look really clean and nice too. Get one soon though as its hard to find nice clean examples and the prices are just going up and up.Originally posted by Deaky97 View PostJust had chance to read this while on my break, awesome car mate. Dead clean and simple, love it. This thread has further cemented why i want a 36 next year.
really really appreciate the information you have shed on the wheels I could not find any information about them which I was starting to get bummed out about. I actually planned on doing some work on the wheels this weekend to try and get them all finished up and ready for the tyres to be fitted. again, thank you.Originally posted by gestanzed View PostLooking great! Also, the spoiler looks wicked mate. A similar looking one off an E46 Alpina just poped up for a good price on facebook for Ł70 and I'm really tempted to snatch it up for my car.

I couldn't even be bothered to finish painting them, i know this is bad but i wanted to get the equips off the car because of the weather and i didn't want the car sitting on ale stands, these will get a proper professional paint job at some stage in the future but for now this will have to do.

So today consisted of getting the tyres switched from the equips over to the 1000Miglia

And i really like how they look fitted to the car, much better than i was expecting. Some people have even said they look better than the equips but i am unsure if i agree.
Here are the photos, the wheels are 17x8.5j square. i have 195/40 up front and 205/40 rear

Oh, i also bought another e36. This time its a touring!!! its a little rough around the edges in the aesthetics department but i am sure i will sort that out. Now would you guys like me to start another thread for the touring?

Dare I say it... DARE I say it... but those miglias are next level. I say build the touring around those wheels, they'd look perfect on there. And yes, 100% new thread for the touring pal.
Man I really like those miglias so much, they sort of remind me of my ex261s!

Those Miglias look better than I expected, I still prefer the Equips, but on the touring they'd be the bee's knees.
Also props for refinishing them so quickly, I have a set of AC Schnitzers in my garage that I've hardly touched in the months I've had them, seeing this makes me wanna start sinking some time into them haha.
