Gotta keep this thread interesting somehow. This was in the works for 2 months or so, kinda figured it wouldn't happen with some issues that came up with the septic system failing. Hopefully I can get all my garage stuff moved over soon so I can start actually working on the car again.

Why getting rid of the jeep? I am an xj fan as well
It took me 7 years of looking to find this. Jeep is just a POS and I dont have the motivation to really work on it anymore. Maybe that will all change now I actually have room.

Well....big update from this weekend. I guess its car related, not really sure. I havent gotten any of my tools moved over yet, but the Jeep (needs to go away) and the bmw made the move. Here is a picture of the new garage.

The best part....which is going to make things so easy I dont even know if I can handle it.

I would love to see this thing ripping in person! Do you do any events in the central PA area? I know my neighbor does hill climbs in his steam powered cars in the Harrisburg area. I would love to check this thing out in person!

She's looking good out there! I always consider a race weekend successful if you had fun and learned something along the way, keep it up!

Race weekend happened. I had some fitment issues saturday which led me to race on my street tires. I was having major rubbing issues, and it ended up being a nose panel screw I missed. I will get pics of the tire damage tonight of that. Ended up only getting 2 runs saturday along with everyone else. We had timing issues and also radio problems which delayed everything. Took the car home and sorted out the problems Saturday night, and was on the slicks the next day. Ended up dropping my time from a 107 down to a 98.888. I wasnt the fastest but I learned a lot about the car. 2 pics from the newspaper.

That's a neat solution, I come from the offroad world but had never seen one of those covers. If you mod it in the front leave a "lip" you can close under the hood so that wind can't make a big balloon when you trailer it

Found my jeep emergency cover....it should work for racing to keep the cab covered and dry. Might end up cutting the front a little and re sewing it. Also want to modify the sides for gromets so I can strap it down.
