so let me be the first to let the cat out of the bag and post up my recently acquired 318is that i picked up last week from what seemed to be a pretty cool guy as even though this was his work car, he took really good care of it. in fact, he never drove it in the winter for the seven years he owned it which equals a huge score for the price in my book as i hail from a salt belt state where most twenty year old cars aren't even worth looking at. overall it's a 7.5-8/10 and the plan is already laid out to get this whipped into shape for a daily spring/summer/fall driver. i'll post as many pics as i can all along the build so you guys have something to talk smack about so please feel free to ask any questions or **** away.

day 1: didn't really want to drive far for a shoot as the brakes are shot so i decided to hit up a parking lot near the new local concrete skate park in my town..............and yea, i didn't wash it before the pics and i'm a noob when it comes to my cheap slr camera so save it.

meh. driving solo on a course for time doesn't seem that fun. i'm more of a highway star..................considering learning to drive like in the pic above so i can do mad doriftos going 70mph at 3:00am in the areas i know about. time to weld up them diff gears & find someone who knows more about my car then me so they can throw in an engine the correct way w/o excuses.

the rear end is a factory 4.10 which should be fun and is kinda crazy because the mustang guys use to pay out the ass to get that gearing LOL.

            coilovers ordered

holy parts every single part (and i mean everything) you can think of that is within the brake system or suspension just showed up in the mail so i'll be knocking it out tomorrow in my bro's shop. also found out my coils could quite possibly show up earlier than expected

i hear you man and it sucks. worth it in the long run as i'll never have to touch the suspension/brakes ever again except for the coilover install.

can't wait to order my furst set of 3-piece wheels next wheek

thank god the boring stuff is almost over. just got the new bearings and bushings pressed in and all i need to do is stop by akg and get my subframe bushings and it'll be ready to pop back in after new e-brake cables.
