Been reading up on here for a while since S10f and Custom GM are ghost towns anymore. Figured I would start a build thread for some constructive criticism/ideas.
Here's what it looks like now

Still waiting on parts from the paint booth. Mainly just the hood, tailgate and rear bumper cover. The rest of the body kit is at my house, waiting to go on after the truck gets aligned.

My first set of real wheels, 18x8/9" BBS Style 42s. Refinished in silver with a polished lip and factory hardware. Might be going with bigger adapters if I decide to tear into the body for a wider look.

Only thing I don't like about them is they don't make BBS center caps in 68mm so unfortunately I have to run the cheap eBay caps. Plan is to convert to three piece wheels this winter.

Suspension setup right now is tubular control arms with drop spindles, coilovers and tall ball joints in the front. The rear is belltech leafs, JTR blocks, setback plates and driveline alignment. Total drop of 7" in front and 7.5" rear. Corvette brakes in the front and stock brakes in the rear.

The interior was all pieced together using factory gm parts except for the steering wheel and shift knob. They were done by now defunct Driftwood Steering Wheels, don't use them if they come back up, their products are shit.

So yeah, so far that's what I've gotten into with this thing. Used to look like this until I repainted it and converted to real wheels. I wish I could've kept the black but the paint was god awful and it had rusted through the corners something awful.

And here is what it looked like when I bought it.

Ive only had it a few years at this point and I plan on keeping it for a while more. Future plans are to convert the wheels to three piece 19's this winter, a four link-coilover setup in the rear with a much bigger notch but keep from cutting into the floor. I also have a 4.3 with 50g miles on it I plan on building for a Wynjammer supercharger build, wire tuck and engine bay shave and repaint.
Anyways, here's one of my many projects let me know what ya think or any criticism. Thanks!
