I've had an account on here for a while, but i've never had a project and always just marvelled at other builds, I have however had a few cars over the past 5 years that i've played with. Despite this I've never been or taken them to any car shows, the satisfaction is simply from enjoying my cars and driving them, the show scene has never been for me, especially when you have places like this.
These are my previous 'builds' if you could call them that.
The Volvo 244 - Hopefully one day a flying brick, Still own this but currently my dad is using this, haven't done too much to this, it's just nice a clean, and i've made a few cosmetic and suspension changes.
This was my mini, and also my first car. Over a few years it went under quite the transformation. I tried to make it as extreme and unique as i could. In the mini scene online people either loved it or ***** it, it divided some opinions which was great, but i never took it to any shows. I sold this last summer and I miss it quite a lot, but I just didn't have the time to drive it.
Right now my focus is on this. It's the 5.5L V8. It's not perfect, and i've already thrown a bunch of money at it to fix some mechanical problems, and the fact I busted a wheel hitting a curb at about 60mph so needed some emergency wheels (the current turbines) but its low mileage and it was an absolute deal. been driving it for about 6 months stock and now that its mechanically sound its time to have some fun with it I think.
Going to be beating on it this summer, the list isn't too long, but this might be my first car i start to take to shows.
