dang, those kind of neighbors are the worst. some people have nothing better to do than find something to complain about.... best of luck with the mustang and wiring harness on the truck!

Damn that sucks about having to move the truck. I work with a few guys who deal with the same shit from their neighbors. I am lucky my stuff can be hidden around the back of my house since thats where the garage is. It was funny tho when the old owner stopped by who visited my neighbor....telling me I had a junk yard...when all it was, was some random junk and not even a car shell like it was before.

Hope to see this back on the road soon tho. Still cant believe that wiring got so bad.

As much as i would love to, we are planning on staying here a few more years. And im not trying to start a war and piss them off more and also piss my wife off in the process lol. As much as i would LOVE to (i can be extremely petty if needed haha) i also have to keep in mind my wifes career as Rear Estate agent. Just not a battle worth fighting.

Last time I received one of these letters I asked for proof as to how they know its not drivable and they simply said because it did not have a license plate, so I threw one on that was in the garage. Well now that I've gotten this second letter I've come to the conclusion someone is complaining to the HOA and pressuring them into sending me letters or the sort. Basically what this tells me is even if I was to get a full new harness, lights all working, brake tag, and proper correct licensed plate on it where it is perfectly legal, id still receive a letter about it. Which fucking sucks as I had planned on in the next month or so getting said harness and getting it fully road worthy and driving it every now and then. SO because I have stupid fucking neighbors who can't appreciate a classic patina truck, have to move it to my work in the back lot, 25 minutes away from my house until the mustang is up and running and I can get the truck in the garage out of the driveway so I can work on it #ENDFUCKINGRANTANDRUNONSENTENCE

Earlier this week I tried to figure out the wiring issue with all the lights (literally none of them) not working, but I got distracted by Crown and my son wanting to play on the truck.

Iv got a 64 f100 from my grandpa and im working on getting a motor and trans in it. He used to daily the truck and he would have me work on it before the motor blew. His wiring looked about the same. these trucks didn't get very good factory wiring. Then you have years of less then ideal quick fixes piled on top.

Thankfully theirs not much to wire with this old of a truck, hope it gets going soon!

Yeah sadly someone has gotten their grubby hands all over this thing. Every wire has been pretty much tampered with. Needs a full rewire.

Current plan for it is to get back on it for the beginning of the fun overhaul this coming spring. Trying to focus on my brz suspension build, then get the mustang up and running and then get back working on this.

Sadly yes. When the time comes for the drivetrain swap the whole truck will be rewired as well.

Takes a special kind of stupid to mess up something as simple as this truck.
