usually i say to hell with what people think, build something that you like. something ive followed throught my corollas build history.
i cant say i **** the stratus, or like it..but if its what you like, then carry on. personally, the flares are a bit much, i wouldve liked stretched stock fenders, jet black paint, V.I.P style.
but thats personally.
creative for sure. ill keep watching.

It's easier to mold the spoiler out of foam, foil, and fiberglass. You need to make the shape with polyurethane foam, shape it, cover it in foil so that the resin doesn't eat up the foam, and fiberglass it. You can just go back and block sand it for a smooth finish. You can also make a wooden skeleton to shape the spoiler.

ohh, and paint it a single color this time. It looks like you can make something nice out of it but that body work is not working out...

Thats exactly what I did, i foamed it, foiled, and fiberglassed it, popped a mold then i molded the fiberglass piece into the trunk lid and quarter panels. The car is more then likly going a single colour

Definitely have to question that bodywork.. Even for "in progress" it looks like it's going wrong.

And the roof rack, dear god. Just when I thought the bandwagoning couldn't be worse.

Anyways, it's cool that you do stuff yourself, maybe once the stance and bodywork is sorted, and everything is cleaned up it'll be nice.

The roof rack is functional, i use it all the time. I do fix alot of cars and i use this car daily in summer, so transporting bumpers and wheels and other big parts around makes the rack really useful

Thats cool, I didn't build it to please you. And I expect tons of people to **** on my car. In the end of the day, Im doing something different, and im happy with it. Tons of people **** the style that most of the people on this site love. And thats fine. Everyone is entitled to there opinion

it's different for sure, but to be honest you need wider wheels. maybe some 18x12et0. you have an insane amount of tuck.

Im still in the decision stage for the rims as i stated in the begining. those are my old rims on the car 18x8 et 35 and 19x9.5 et 35. I have a few rims in my head that im looking into.

sorry, but this thing oozes fail, roof racks = ultimate groupie, the spoiler on the boot... i know its not finished but it already looks like its off to a bad start, how do people get in the back? your flares are tacked over the doors, youve started with the totally wrong car and just kept going, sorry but not a fan at all

As this "project" is listed in the Build Section, its OBVIOUS that it's not done. the roof rack is functional. I use it, daily. Im not trying to get on any bandwagon, and if you realized I live in Canada, and people dont rock roof racks to be cool here. That style never came this way.
The flares are tacked on right now as you said, over the back doors. Im fitting them still, before i mold them in. I dont need to worry about people getting in the back since thge rear seat is full of stereo equipement. As i stated before, this car was a full blown show car. and im changing up the look.


Its cool that people like my project, are intrigued, and even **** it. If people all thought the same, and built the same cars and everyone loved it, then where would the the creativity be.

Either way, the build will still continue, regardless of the fact of how many people **** it.
