I had the same issues with my 3 piece rotfiorms and eventually transitioned to BBS as well. From my very basic understanding any 3 piece rotfiorms made pre MHT were very weak. My 3 piece set was built before rotfiorm was bought by MHT, I drove on them maybe 3-4 times and bent 3 out of 4 lips. Out of frustration I sold them a moved on to a stronger 3 piece wheels. Apparently rotfiorm quality post MHT buying them is heads above the old stuff. I would t shy away from any of their current 3 piece wheels just be wary of any 3 piece rotfiorm wheel on the used market prior to the acquisition. Sweet b8, that was the original reason I clicked on this thread.
