Hi there,
let me reintroduce me on here. Already made a thread at the newbie section, but i guess everyone comes for the build section (me included). So my Name is Johannes, i'm 30 and i'm from southern Germany. I'm not new to the whole Stance/Fitment Thing but new on here.
I build a couple of cars, some properly, some less properly.
Now to the current project, i've always wanted a W210, i know they're not beautiful by any meaning, but something about them made me want one for long.

So in August this one popped up for cheap not far away, mainly because TÜV (technical inspection) was due and this Chassis is not know for passing it easily (*cough*rust*cough*) But this one was well taken care of, so it was pretty mint for it's age and milage (1997 and 360k km's wich equals 225k miles)
it never saw snow for the past 10 years and he loved this car.
All i had to do, was replace two blubs and throw in new brake discs and pads up front.
Then it passed TÜV without any problems.

So after passing TÜV i had to do something about the old ugly preface taillights and swapped them for facelift ones, thought about avantgarde ones, because their indicator is darker, but i thought it would make the car to dark. At the same time i ordered some cheap coilovers, but didn't have the drive to fit them, mainly because i had no wheels to go with it. So i drove this sucker for the past few months completely stock. And actually enjoyed it.

After a few months of driving carefree it decided to s*** itself and started leaking coolant, badly...

and if that wasn't enough, it also started leaking oil, so i need to get this stuff fixed soon.
So today was the day i got me some motivation, bought some cheap 19" BBS Reps and they don't look bad on it. Needs some spacers and lowering, but then it's good to go! And of course a good wash.

Yeah i know replicas are bad, but i won't throw $$$'s at it, because it would be more than the car itself. It should be a cheap low budget build to have fun with. Haven't decided on the tire size yet, the current ones are blank 225's up front and 255's in the back, would like skinnier tires, i'm open to suggestions.
What are the next steps:
- Fit the Coilovers
- Get some Facelift sideskirds
- get a Facelift rear bumper and mold the lower section on a Preface one
- Find a cheap Brabus front lip or build something myself
- i'd love straight pipes on the rear section
- maybe end up buying so legit multi piece wheels.
Feel free to comment whether you like it or not!
