  • Snowflake: The 4 Door, Alpine White E30

I haven't been very active here on Stance Works besides lurking through everyone else's build threads, but I have a pretty nice e30 that I am working on and I figured it was time to start my own on here. I actually have a build thread on R3vlimited but I can't figure out a good way to transfer all of that here with the pictures. Here's the link to that if anyone is interested: http://www.r3vlimited.com/board/showthread.php?t=396861

Basically I've been working on e30's for a while now, I purchased my first one for way too much and it had a lot of issues. I got my current e30 for $350. It was a complete car with the engine, 99% rust free. Pretty good deal! Only issue is it did not have a title, I am still working on getting that. Basically at this point I have dropped in a rebuilt M20 (my first engine rebuild), I have swapped a manual tranny, full brake rebuild, and I am finishing up a suspension overhaul. Check my build thread on R3V if you want to see details. I'll be updating this thread soon. Here are some pictures in the meantime:

    When I first got her:

    Cleaned up pretty well:

I powder coated most of the engine components myself:

Thanks man, I know they get some **** sometimes but I like em.

Slowly getting Snowflake closer to road worthy status. I powder coated this cover while I had the rear end drop. They always rust out so this will help protect it.

Then I powder coated my diff cover

3.73 lsd ready to go with a new Garagistic poly bushing.

I put all new cv boots and 95a poly bushings on my adjustable subframe. Had to notch the bushings slightly for the hardware to work.

I'm powder coating my wipers too.

      Brakes are ready to go

      New Garagistic brake lines

Hopefully I'll get the rear end in tomorrow.
