    Red Hair Don't Care

    Introduction to our car paradise
There is a legend in Spain that tells that many moons ago, a very nice gentleman and his group of cavaliers, very kindly set up some laws to avoid people going crazy when performing badass car builds. Also this group of unconscious, unsensible, and barren of car respect pricks renewed laws each decade or so, enforcing the car industry and aficcionados to loopsuck their own hypothalamus to get to enjoy out of anything we could about cars.
Now, what really happens is that Spain car reculations are right behind Singapore's on the "lets F this world of automobile passion".
It's not that restrictive, and we can buy cars and keep them for life but just to give you some examples of the preposterousness of my country, i can start for: Custom license plate numbers is a stupid idea and we will not contemplate that permit because is ridiculous and there is no need for that. And I can continue through: Everything that's not PURELY stock/oem is not legal and if you want to run any modifications you got to pay some silly taxes and paperwork that instantly allow you to make your car safety an legal (Being the damned paperwork more expensive than the actual mod). Kill us plz.

So what? - A nice getaway from this is to work with cars the oldest you can because they have less specifications on their papers so you can do real thaaangs. (but hey you gotta be the master of camouflage and slicktop becuz each year you gotta go trough the spanish inspection (ITV (Inspección Técnica de Vehículos) better known as (Imbéciles Tocahuevos de Vehículos) and even if you got no catalysed car you gotta pass some smog (we laugh at that california "passing smog is a pain in the arse" (respect for you guys; you do car builds far beyond what we can even do here without getting the car towed to the impound lot at the first cop sight) there are some specific cars that can be out of this excess of control but in that inspection you got EVERY part of the car looked to work properly, from a brake sensor to all the bushings to leaks of the engine to the defroster... and the 'if it works it passes' dont save ur ass. It must be oem or at least look as oem so the ignorant cheking your car cant fool you.
That´s the reason why you don't know about The Car Culture Of Spain. Its obscure, hidden, underground, and almost always, its illegal.

All what I have done on my car is justifiable through law loops or because they were oem parts or look like them and I can risk it.

I have been living on this website on silence, contemplating and flipping, loving and staring at what the people of this comunity builds, always with nice codes, being beauty, stance, hotroding, "aintcaring" or whatever, but always with THE SPIRIT OF AUTOMOBILE living inside you, thing that I've never seen in person out of myself, because the Football(Soccer) mov't country in which I live.

Hope you enjoy what I have been doing with my car the past 6 years, and what i'll be doing to it. I'm going trough lot of changes in my life so i hope to get you entertained the more frequently and the better.

This was the year of 2012

The first pictures I took to my car.(caution, epic terrible phone pics) At the moment I got home with it, I got rid of all the crap I'll never admit it had installed, And right after a wash:

And then I had to go from Pontevedra, in Galicia, (secret) land of rallyes, on the nortwest of the country to Madrid, right in the middle, to study architecture; and I went with it, naturally. 620 kilometers away.

Performed a few detail touches to hide some imperfections or bad past installs of stuff.
and then, aproaching my first inspection, I discovered my first disagreement with the vehicle regulations.

I will update this post and continue with the write up as fast as I can. Enjoy!

Hi Felix, i've been on the swadows of this forum since it started, and I love each corner of it.
The "lack" of car scene in Spain is something I always felt part responsible for and something I want to work for in the future.

I'll try to keep on starting some very very big projects in Galicia for the car culture that were left aside because this car, nearly finished was stolen almost a year ago, left semi hoarded on the snow. People recogniced it and i was able to bring it back to something decent looking, but it still far from how it was.

Whats the name of your thread?

Are you on Etreinteros groupe, E30/E21 Club España, or any other on facebook?

If you are from the northwest you may know our chat group, E30's World.

      ¡Saludos!
