Hello fellow car lovers,

Been lurking on the forums for a while now, and finally decided to post up about my car.

Its a 2015 MY15 Volkswagen Golf R in a Manual! I work for Volkswagen, so i got a great price. Its White, with No Leather and a Sunroof.

Ill be posting pics as the days go by, as i retreive them from my Pc.

I picked up the car in June 2015, and since then have tastefully modded it.

This thread will be very image heavy, so enjoy them!

I am looking into the R myself.

Since you work at VW and have both of them at your disposal, what can you say about the respective engines (EA888 vs EA113)?

How are they compared to each other? How tuneable are they if I would for example aim for 400-450awhp.

The MK7 is a world of difference from the MK6.

Its a whole new car, power delivery is refined, the driveline is more advanced.

Everything is an advantage with the 7R.

Keep in mind, the MK7.5 is on its way, and the changes again, are mind blowing!!

a couple of months later, my mate Nusta picked up her new 2015 STI. Yep, a female who drives manual, a rare kind! hahah, so we met up for dinner and i took this quick snap. a shame i didnt have my camera gear with me, would have done a proper shoot on it
